The lovingly restored holiday flat Casa Antigua is located in the centre of Warendorf. The holiday apartment is characterised by its listed building fabric. Thanks to its location in a side street of the pedestrian zone, all important facilities and sights are within easy walking distance. The beautiful old town of Warendorf is centred around the market square and offers numerous shopping opportunities and a lively restaurant scene. The recreational area around the Emssee lake and the famous state stud farm with its historic stables are just a few minutes' walk away. Traditional markets, horse events, Christmas markets and many other events provide plenty of variety in Warendorf.
Cyclists will find a large selection of cycle paths in and around Warendorf. The Ems Cycle Path and the 100 Castles Route have been among the most popular cycle paths in the Münsterland region for years. The old town centre of Telgte, the Four Seasons Park in Oelde and Harkotten Castle near Sassenberg are great destinations. Münster (approx. 31 km) can also be reached by bike on a cycle tour through the parkland. Alternatively, you can also take the train for a day trip to Münster. Canoe tours on the Ems are highly recommended. The river is also suitable for beginners.
Warendorf is not the 'horse capital' for nothing. The proud four-legged friends are everywhere. No wonder that the Warendorf riding route has a good reputation among horse lovers.
