Why not try the local delicacy of cullen skink (a thick soup made with smoked haddock, potatoes and onions) while you are there? If you are a keen golfer, then there are several courses within easy reach. The working fishing town of Buckie is about 4 miles away, and from here you can take a boat trip on the Gemini Explorer to search for the Moray Firth dolphins. Or, further afield at Spey Bay, you will find the popular Scottish Dolphin Centre and Nature Reserve. The famous Speyside Whisky Trail is also within easy reach and should not be missed. Beach 170 yards. Shop and pub 170 yards, restaurant 2 miles.
